Did you pay your taxes yet?

Ok this blog post isn’t just for Denverites, it’s for all tax-paying Americans.

Just a friendly reminder to pay those taxes if you haven’t already.

And you may want to think about how much taxes you’ll be paying next year, the year after, and the year after that.

Click here to take a peak at the rapidly escalating national debt of the U.S. This a debt that we have to all pay off (eventually) in tax money. Just how much debt do we have? I’ll give you a hint:

the number nine followed by twelve zeroes

Make sure you talk to coworkers, friends, family, classmates, teachers, business leaders, and local politicians about this number. That’s twelve zeroes that we all are paying for.

To figure out how much we owe:

divide nine followed by twelve zeroes
by
three followed by eight zeroes
